Pharmacologic study of metronidazole combined with clindamycin in the treatment of bacterial vaginitis
Objective To investigate the effect of metronidazole combined with clindamycin in the treatment of bacterial vaginitis. Methods 80 patients with bacterial vaginitis were selected and divided into experimental group and control group by double-blind method,40 cases each. The control group was given clindamycin single treatment, and the experimental group was combined with metronidazole on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect and related clinical indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The indexes of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and procalcitonin in experimental group were lower than those in control group, and the time of symptom disappearance was shorter than that in control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of experimental group was 97.50%higher than that of control group(80.00%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of metronidazole combined with clindamycin in the treatment of bacterial vaginitis is remarkable, which can improve the inflammatory response and promote the improvement of symptoms, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
