Clinical effect of percutaneous estradiol gel combined with oral estradiol valerate on frozen thawed embryo transfer
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of percutaneous estradiol gel combined with oral estradiol valerate for frozen thawed embryo transfer. Methods 80 infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome who underwent freeze-thaw embryo transfer in our hospital were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oral estradiol valerate, and the experimental group was treated with percutaneous estradiol gel combined with oral estradiol valerate. Results The duration of estrogen application in the experimental group was(12.41±1.35)days,which was shorter than the control group's(16.03±2.68)days,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in endometrial thickness, estradiol, and progesterone levels between the two conversion days(P>0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in pregnancy success rate and miscarriage rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of percutaneous estradiol gel and oral estradiol valerate in frozen thawed embryo transfer can significantly shorten the use time of estrogen without affecting the hormone level and pregnancy success rate, which is worth popularizing.
