Pathologic and clinical study on the expression of anterior vaginal plexus peptide and pudendal nerve injury
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of anterior vaginal plexus peptide(VIP)and pudendal nerve injury and the pathogenesis of pelvic floor dysfunction caused by pudendal nerve injury. Methods 40 patients with pelvic floor dysfunction were selected as the study group and 40 patients with other gynecological diseases were selected as the control group. The expression of VIP in the anterior vaginal wall was detected by semi-quantitative immunohistochemistry.western blot quantitative analysis was used to compare the relationship of VIP expression in anterior vaginal wall. Results The more serious the degree of pelvic organ prolapse(POP)is,the more disorganized and loose the lamina propria structure and the fracture of connective tissue can be seen.Small blood vessel gum less; The more severe the POP disease, the fewer blood vessels, glands, and smooth muscle in the front wall of the vagina.VIP expression from high to low was control group,POP-Q Ⅰgroup,POP-Q Ⅱ group,POP-QⅢ group and POP-QIⅤ group. In POP-QⅢ group and POP-QIV group with SUI or without SUI,VIP was almost not expressed(P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of VIP in the anterior vaginal wall is negatively correlated with the degree of disease of POP.Among the multiple factors of pelvic organ prolapse, menopause and SUI are more important for the occurrence and development of POP.
