The effect of abdominal breathing combined with acupoint massage on reducing abdominal distension in gynecological laparoscopic patients
Objective To explore the effect of abdominal breathing combined with acupoint massage on reducing abdominal distension in gynecological laparoscopic patients. Methods 60 patients who underwent gynecological laparoscopic surgery in our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The routine group received routine nursing care, while the experimental group received abdominal breathing combined with acupoint massage. The recovery of gastrointestinal function, degree of abdominal distension, and recovery process were compared between the two groups. Results After surgery, the levels of hunger hormone, gastrin, and motilin in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The proportion of grade I abdominal distension in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The retention time and hospitalization time of the drainage tube in the experimental group were shorter than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Abdominal breathing and acupoint massage can be used for gynecological laparoscopic surgery patients, effectively improving their gastrointestinal function and reducing abdominal distension, which is worth promoting.
