The diagnostic value of transabdominal ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, and their combined application in gynecological acute abdomen
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of transabdominal ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, and their combined application in gynecological acute abdomen. Methods 65 patients with gynecological acute abdomen in our hospital were selected as the research subjects, and transabdominal ultrasound examination, transvaginal ultrasound examination, and combined examination were used to compare the diagnostic efficacy of the three examination methods. Results Pathological examination confirmed 50 cases of positive gynecological acute abdomen and 15 cases of negative gynecological acute abdomen; The diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of joint examination are higher than those of transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound. The missed diagnosis rate and misdiagnosis rate are lower than those of transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound. The detection rate of ovarian cyst torsion and ectopic pregnancy is higher than that of transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with using transabdominal ultrasound or transvaginal ultrasound alone, combined examination has higher clinical diagnostic value in gynecological acute abdomen.
