The effect of negative emotion level and social support level on sleep quality in pregnant women in the first trimester
Objective To explore the effects of negative emotion level and social support level on sleep quality in pregnant women in the first trimester.Methods A total of 269 pregnant women in the first trimester were selected as the study objects.Online questionnaire survey was conducted using Pittsburgh Sleep quality Index,self-rating Depression Scale and Social Support Assessment Scale.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation among sleep quality,depression and social support level of pregnant women in the first trimester.Multiple linear regression model was used to investigate the influencing factors of sleep quality in pregnant women in the first trimester.Results Sleep quality was negatively correlated with social support and positively correlated with depression.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that social support(β=0241;95%CI 0.027,0.146)and negative emotion(β=-0.285;95%CI-0.153,-0.040)were the influencing factors of sleep quality in early pregnancy.Conclusion The level of negative emotion and social support of pregnant women in the first trimester has an impact on sleep quality.Improving the level of social support and emotional management ability of pregnant women is an important factor to improve sleep quality in the first trimester.
