Clinical efficacy of laparoscopic myomectomy combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone therapy for uterine fibroids
Objective To Explore the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic myomectomy combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone treatment for uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 52 patients with uterine fibroids were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into two groups using a single and double digit lottery method, with 26 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with laparoscopic myomectomy, while the combination group was treated with laparoscopic myomectomy combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone therapy. The sex hormone levels, surgical indicators, incidence of complications, recurrence rate, and postoperative 24-hour pain scores were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone in the combination group were higher than those in the control group, while the levels of estradiol were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The surgery time, exhaust time, and hospitalization time of the combined group were shorter than those of the control group, and the intraoperative bleeding was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence and recurrence rates of postoperative complications in the combination group were 3.85%and 0,which were lower than the control group's 23.08%and 15.33%(P<0.05).The pain score at 24 hours after surgery in the combination group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic myomectomy combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone therapy has a significant therapeutic effect on uterine fibroids. It can significantly improve the patient's sex hormone levels, reduce complications and recurrence rates, and is worth promoting.
