Effect of labor analgesia on labor and labor outcome of primipara under new labor standard
Objective To investigate the effect of labor analgesia on labor and labor outcome of primipara under the new standard of labor process. Methods A total of 83 cases of parturient women were divided into control group(n=40)and observation group(n=43).The observation group was given labor analgesia under the new labor process standards, including epidural puncture and electronic analgesia pump, while the control group was given labor according to the new labor process standards without labor analgesia. The outcomes of labor and the duration of labor at each stage were compared between the two groups. Results The natural vaginal delivery rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incubation period of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The duration of active stage, second stage of labor, third stage of labor and total stage of labor in observation group were shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Under the new standard of labor process, the use of labor analgesia can shorten the labor time of each stage and improve the outcome of labor, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
