Effect analysis of high-intensity focused ultrasound combined with mifepristone in the treatment of uterine fibroids
Objective To investigate the effect of high-intensity focused ultrasound combined with mifepristone in the treatment of uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 70 patients with uterine fibroids were selected and divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mifepristone, and the study group was treated with high-intensity focused ultrasound based on the control group. The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in uterine fibroid volume and uterine volume between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the myoma volume and uterine volume of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the levels of estrogen, estradiol and vascular endothelial growth factor between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of estrogen, estradiol and vascular endothelial growth factor in study group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Mifepristone combined with high-intensity focused ultrasound is effective in the treatment of uterine fibroids, which can improve the level of sex hormones in patients and reduce the size of fibroids. It is safe and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
