Value analysis of transvaginal ultrasonography and transabdominal ultrasonography in diagnosis of uterine fibroids
Objective To investigate the clinical value of transvaginal ultrasonography and transabdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 58 patients with suspected uterine fibroids were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent transvaginal ultrasonography, transabdominal ultrasonography, transvaginal ultrasonography combined with transabdominal ultrasonography, and the pathological findings were used as the gold standard for the examination of uterine fibroids. The diagnostic results, specificity, sensitivity and accuracy of transvaginal ultrasound, transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound combined with transabdominal ultrasound were compared. Results The specificity, sensitivity and accuracy of transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of uterine fibroids were higher than those of transvaginal ultrasonography and transabdominal ultrasonography, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The accuracy of the combined transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasonography in the differential diagnosis of uterine fibroids in different parts was higher than that of transvaginal ultrasonography and transabdominal ultrasonography, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasonography combined with transabdominal ultrasonography is more accurate in the diagnosis of uterine fibroids, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
