Clinical value of compound acetic acid staining combined with colposcopy in screening cervical precancerous lesions
Objective To investigate the clinical value of compound acetic acid staining(VIA)combined with colposcopy in screening cervical precancerous lesions. Methods A total of 52 patients undergoing cervical cancer screening were selected as the study subjects, all of whom were examined by VIA combined colposcopy, and by TCT combined with human papillomavirus(HPV).The results of surgical pathology were used as the gold standard for cervical cancer screening, and the effectiveness of VIA combined colposcopy was evaluated. Results The consistency between the pathological results by colposcopy and VIA was 53.57%.The consistency between TCT combined with HPV screening and pathological results was 55.17%.There was no significant difference in the specificity, sensitivity and accuracy of HPV screening between VIA combined colposcopy and TCT combined(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of compound acetic acid staining combined with colposcopy in the screening of cervical precancerous lesions has obvious advantages, and the diagnostic efficacy is not lower than that of TCT combined with HPV examination, and it is easier to promote in economically underdeveloped areas.
