Effect of whole-course midwifery nursing mode on blood glucose index and delivery outcome of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To investigate the effects of whole-course midwifery nursing mode on blood glucose index and delivery outcome of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods 68 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into 2 groups with 34 cases in each group according to ball-touching method.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given full midwifery nursing.The changes of blood glucose indexes and delivery outcomes of the two groups were compared,and nursing satisfaction was evaluated.Results After intervention,the blood glucose index measured by both groups at the end of pregnancy decreased,and compared between groups,the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of cesarean section and adverse pregnancy outcome in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The whole-course midwifery nursing intervention can effectively control blood sugar,improve pregnancy outcome,and improve nursing satisfaction,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
