Clinical effects of block anesthesia combined with perineal body massage on lateral incision and laceration of perineum
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of applying block anesthesia and perineal massage on lateral perineal incision and laceration during childbirth. Methods 100 parturients were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received bilateral perineal block anesthesia alone, and the experimental group received perineal block anesthesia combined with perineal body massage. The integrity of perineal body, cesarean section rate, postpartum bleeding amount and perineal wound healing time were compared between the two groups. Results The perineal integrity rate, cesarean section rate, postpartum blood loss and perineal wound healing time in experimental group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Block anesthesia combined with perineal body massage can effectively enhance the local elasticity of the perineum, thereby reducing the risk of lateral incision and laceration of the perineum, and provide support for postpartum recovery, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
