Exploring the therapeutic effect of misoprostol in obstetric clinical application on postpartum hemorrhage
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of misoprostol on postpartum hemorrhage in obstetric clinical application. Methods 100 postpartum hemorrhage patients diagnosed and treated in the obstetrics department of our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into two groups based on odd and even medical record numbers, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oxytocin, while the study group was treated with misoprostol. The coagulation function, serological indicators, and bleeding volume of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time,D-dimer,fibrinogen,nitric oxide, and nitric oxide synthase in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment, the study group had less bleeding than the control group at 0.5 hours,0.6~2 hours, and 3~24 hours after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Misoprostol treatment for postpartum hemorrhage can reduce the amount of bleeding in patients, improve coagulation function, and lower its serological indicators, with significant application value.
