Diagnostic value of TCT combined with cervical biopsy in high-risk patients with cervical cancer
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of liquid-based thin layer cytology(TCT)combined with cervical tissue biopsy in high-risk patients with cervical cancer(CC).Methods 78 patients with high risk of CC were selected as the study objects, all of whom were examined by TCT and cervical biopsy. With the results of postoperative pathological section as the gold standard, the positive detection rate of the two methods was compared, and the operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn, and the diagnostic value of TCT and cervical tissue biopsy was analyzed by using the area under the curve(AUC).Results Of 78 high-risk patients with CC,33 cases(42.31%)were diagnosed with CC.By TCT examination,36 cases(46.15%)were positive and 42 cases(53.85%)were negative.By cervical biopsy,32 cases(41.03%)were positive and 46 cases(58.97%)were negative. The AUC of combined examination was significantly higher than that of single examination(P<0.05),and the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of combined examination and cervical tissue biopsy were higher than that of TCT examination(P<0.05).Conclusion TCT combined with cervical biopsy has a high value in the diagnosis of CC patients, which is beneficial to improve the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity, and has a relatively ideal diagnostic value.
