Significance of human papillomavirus detection,liquid-based thin-layer cell detection and colposcopy examination in early cervical lesions screening
Objective To explore the application effect of human papillomavirus testing, liquid based thin-layer cell detection combined with colposcopy in early screening of cervical lesions. Methods 110 suspected cervical lesions patients were selected as the study subjects, all of whom underwent human papillomavirus testing, liquid based thin-layer cell testing, and colposcopy examination. The pathological diagnosis results were used as the gold standard to compare the positive detection of human papillomavirus testing, liquid based thin-layer cell testing, colposcopy examination, and combined examination,as well as the diagnostic efficacy of individual and combined examinations. Results Pathological diagnosis confirmed 24 cases of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions,33 cases of high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions, and 12 cases of cervical cancer; The positive detection rate of joint examination is 98.55%,which is higher than 84.06%,62.32%,and 86.96%of human papillomavirus test(P<0.05),liquid based thin-layer cell test, and colposcopy test; The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values of joint examination were higher than those of human papillomavirus examination, liquid based thin-layer cell detection, and colposcopy examination(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of human papillomavirus test, liquid based thin-layer cell detection combined with colposcopy in the early diagnosis of cervical lesions can significantly improve the positive detection rate and has high diagnostic efficacy, which is worth promoting.
