A case analysis and literature review of renal adenocarcinoma in the uterus
Middle kidney like adenocarcinoma(MLA)is a novel endometrial and ovarian tumor, commonly found in the uterus and ovaries, and has unique morphological and immunophenotypic characteristics.Uterine MLA is extremely rare, accounting for about 1%of all endometrial cancers, and can exhibit multiple growth patterns. It is easily misdiagnosed as low-grade endometrial adenocarcinoma, clear cell carcinoma, and serous adenocarcinoma, making the diagnosis of this disease extremely challenging. This article reports a case of 55 year old uterine MLA.By analyzing the characteristics of the case,a literature review was conducted on the pathology, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of uterine MLA,in order to improve the understanding of clinical and pathological physicians about the disease and avoid misdiagnosis and mistreatment.
