Clinical observation of a new dot-matrix CO2 laser in the treatment of postpartum vaginal laxity
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of a new dot-matrix carbon dioxide(CO2)laser in the treatment of postpartum vaginal relaxation. Methods 80 patients with vaginal relaxation were selected and divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The two groups received rehabilitation training for 4 months, and the treatment group was treated with a new type of dot matrix CO2 laser. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, and the vaginal relaxation degree(VLQ)and sexual function status(Modified Female Sexual Function Index Scale(FSFI))of the two groups were evaluated after 3,6 and 12 months, respectively. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).There were significant differences in VLQ score,FSFI score between groups, time points and interaction comparison between the two groups(P<0.05),and higher than before treatment at all time points in the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the follow-up at all time points in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion the new dot-matrix CO2 Laser is effective in the treatment of postpartum flaccid syndrome, which can reduce the degree of vaginal flaccid and improve the sexual function of the patients.
