Risk factors for ectopic pregnancy in assisted reproductive technology
In the process of rapid development of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)technology,the incidence of ectopic pregnancy(EP)is also gradually increasing.Since the specific cause and mechanism of EP in the process of assisted reproductive technology(ART)are still unclear,most of the risk factors for EP are considered to be the abnormal function of the fallopian tube,the operation of ART and abnormal hormone levels in the body.This article reviews the factors related to EP in IVF-ET assisted pregnancy.
