Application analysis of magnetic resonance imaging technology in the diagnosis and differentiation of adenomyosis and uterine fibroids
Objective To explore the application effect of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in the diagnosis and differentiation of adenomyosis and uterine fibroids. Methods 60suspected patients with adenomyosis or uterine fibroids were selected and all underwent MRI and ultrasound examinations.Using surgical pathological examination results as the gold standard, compare the diagnostic efficacy of MRI and ultrasound, and analyze the imaging characteristics of adenomyosis and uterine fibroids. Results Of the 60 suspected patients,28 cases of adenomyopathy,32 cases of uterine fibroids. The sensitivity, accuracy and specificity of MRI in the diagnosis of adenomyosis and hysteromyoma were higher than those of ultrasound(P<0.05).The majority of adenomyosis patients were localized lesions, and the uterus showed extensive or local irregular increase. The lesions were mainly distributed in the outer layer of the muscle wall, and were characterized by blurred edges, irregular shape and no envelope. The deep surface of the lesions was deformed due to pressure. The patients with uterine fibroids were found to have similar numbers of single and multiple lesions, and the uterus showed an increased irregular limitation. The lesions were mainly distributed in the bottom of the uterine body, anterior wall, posterior wall, and uterine horn, and were mainly circular or circular, with clear edges and envelopes, and the joint zone of the deep surface of the lesion was compressed and deformed. Conclusion MRI diagnosis and differentiation of adenomyosis and uterine fibroids have high application value, which can effectively improve diagnostic efficiency and provide reference information for clinical diagnosis, differentiation, and treatment.
