The effectiveness of the five link test in diagnosing the pathogen of vaginitis and the cleanliness of vaginal discharge
Objective To explore the effectiveness of the five link test in diagnosing the pathogen of vaginitis and the cleanliness of vaginal discharge. Methods 60 suspected vaginitis patients admitted to our hospital were selected as the research subjects, all of whom underwent vaginitis five in one test and routine microscopic examination. The results of the two detection methods for vaginal pathogens and vaginal discharge cleanliness were compared. Results The accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the five test for vaginitis were higher than those of conventional microscopy; In different cases of positive detection of pathogens, the detection rate of vaginitis in the five linked test was higher than that in conventional microscopy, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)between the results of the five test for vaginitis and the routine microscopic examination in different levels of vaginal discharge cleanliness testing. Conclusion In the process of clinical diagnosis and treatment of vaginitis, actively implementing the five tests for vaginitis can effectively improve the detection rate of clinical vaginitis, and provide necessary basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of vaginitis.
