Improvement of FSH and LH levels in patients with menopausal syndrome treated with integrated Chinese and Western medicine
Objective To investigate the value of the treatment of menopausal syndrome(MPS)with integrated Chinese and western medicine in improving the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH).Methods 46 patients with MPS were selected,all of whom were treated with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.The levels of serum FSH,LH,estradiol(E2)and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed before and after treatment.Results Compared with before treatment,the serum FSH and LH levels were significantly decreased and the E2 level was significantly increased after treatment,and there were statistical significances in serum FSH,LH and E2 levels before and after treatment(P＜0.05).One of the 46 patients had mild migraine,and no other serious adverse reactions were observed.Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of MPS has reliable efficacy and high safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
