The diagnostic potential of combining microbiological examination with a six joint tests for vaginal secretion for the detection of candida in vaginal secretions
Objective To explore the value of microbiological test combined with vaginal secretion six-way test in the diagnosis of candida vaginitis. Methods 300 patients suspected of candida vaginitis were selected as the study objects, and the six tests of microbiological examination and vaginal secretion were carried out respectively.Using histopathological examination as the gold standard, the diagnostic efficacy of microbiological examination, vaginal secretions six-part test and combined test in candida vaginitis was compared. Results The sensitivity of the combined test was higher than that of the six-test and microbiological test, and the sensitivity of the six-test was higher than that of the microbiological test(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the specificity of six tests, microbiological tests and combined tests of vaginal secretion(P>0.05).The accuracy of the combined test was higher than that of the microbiological test(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the six combined tests and the combined tests(P>0.05).Conclusion The diagnostic efficacy of vaginal secretions six-test is better than that of microbiological test for candida vaginitis, but the combination of the two can improve the sensitivity and accuracy of diagnosis, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
