Objective To explore the effects of midwife psychological intervention combined with delivery assistance facilities on labor process, delivery mode and delivery pain perception of primipara. Methods 84 primiparous women who gave birth in the hospital were randomly divided into the control group(42 cases)and the observation group(42 cases). The control group was treated with routine midwifery nursing, and the observation group was treated with midwife psychological intervention combined with delivery assistance facilities on the basis of the control group. The course of labor, delivery mode, psychological health level and perceived score of delivery pain were compared between the two groups. Results The durations of each labor stage in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The cesarean section rate in the observation group was 16.67%,lower than 40.48%in the control group(P<0.05).After delivery, the positive emotion score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the negative emotion score and delivery pain perception scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Midwife psychological intervention combined with delivery assistance facilities can effectively shorten the labor course of primipara, improve their psychological health level, alleviate the delivery pain, and reduce the rate of cesarean section.
