Application effect of COM-B model intervention with midwife participation in primiparous women undergoing childbirth
Objective To explore the effect of COM-B model intervention with midwife participation in primiparous women undergoing childbirth. Methods 92 cases of primipara who gave birth in the hospital were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into the control group(46 cases)and the observation group(46 cases). The control group received routine midwifery nursing, and the observation group received COM-B model intervention with midwifery participation. The duration of each labor stage, the score of childbirth attitudes questionnaire(CAQ)and the outcome of labor were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of the first and second stages of labor and the total stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).All dimension scores of the CAQ and the total score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The rates of non-indicative cesarean section, fetal distress and postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group were 6.52%,0 and 2.17%,respectively,which were lower than 21.74%,13.04%and 17.39%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The COM-B model intervention with midwife participation can effectively shorten the course of labor, reduce the fear of labor and improve the outcome of labor.
