A study on the relationship between vulvar ulcers and female endocrine hormone levels
Objective To explore the relationship between vulvar ulcers and female endocrine hormone levels. Methods 30 female patients with genital ulcers admitted to our hospital were selected as the observation group, and 27 female patients who underwent health examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.Detect the levels of estrogen, androgen, progesterone, and prolactin in two groups, use logistic binary regression analysis to analyze the correlation between related hormone levels and vulvar ulcers, and analyze the diagnostic value of multivariate analysis results in vulvar ulcers through receiver operating curve(ROC curve). Results The levels of estradiol, testosterone, progesterone, and prolactin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Low levels of estradiol and testosterone are risk factors for female genital ulcers(P<0.05).In the ROC curve results, the area under the curve for estradiol was 0.878(P<0.05),and the area under the curve for testosterone was 0.882(P<0.05).Conclusion The occurrence of female vulvar ulcers may be influenced by the secretion of endocrine hormones, especially estradiol and testosterone. It is necessary to grasp and regulate these two indicators during treatment to enhance the repair and proliferation ability of female vulvar tissue cells, enhance immunity, and prevent the occurrence of vulvar ulcers.
