Status quo and influencing factors of dietary self-efficacy in gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To investigate the level of dietary self-efficacy in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods 88 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus were selected as the study objects.Questionnaire was used to investigate the level of dietary self-efficacy and the influencing factors were analyzed.Results The average dietary self-efficacy score of enrolled patients was(56.58±5.22)points.Older age,no fixed occupation,low per capita family income and low education level were independent risk factors for dietary self-efficacy score of gestational diabetes mellitus patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical nursing staff should start from the specific conditions of gestational diabetes mellitus patients,combine their dietary self-efficacy scores,communicate with dietitians,and formulate a reasonable diet plan for patients,maximize their dietary self-efficacy,improve their dietary compliance,and control their blood glucose levels.
