The value of vaginal secretions combined with five linked tests in the diagnosis of vaginitis
Objective To explore the effectiveness of vaginal secretions combined with five tests in the diagnosis of vaginitis. Methods 98 suspected vaginitis patients admitted to our hospital were selected and subjected to vaginal discharge combined with five linked tests. The gold standard was the culture method, and the test results were compared. Results The detection rate of vaginitis using the culture method was 31.63%,and the consistency between the combined test and the gold standard test was high. The diagnostic efficacy was significantly better than that of routine vaginal discharge microscopy and five joint tests for vaginitis alone(P<0.05);The detection rates of bacteria and trichomonas using the five linked method and combined detection were significantly higher than those using vaginal secretion detection(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of vaginal secretions combined with five tests in the diagnosis of vaginitis can effectively improve the detection efficiency and diagnostic efficiency of vaginitis.
