Effect of preoperative precision blood glucose management on pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To investigate the effect of preoperative precision blood glucose management on pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods 60 GDM patients undergoing elective cesarean section were selected and divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group according to random number table method.Control group was given routine cesarean section operation nursing and blood glucose monitoring, observation group was given preoperative precise blood glucose management on the basis of control group.Blood glucose values before intervention and delivery, blood glucose values immediately after birth,30 min,60 min,and adverse pregnancy outcomes of neonates were compared between the two groups. Results The blood glucose levels in the observation group before delivery were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Blood glucose levels immediately after birth,30 min and 60 min in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of neonatal adverse pregnancy outcome in the observation group was 3.33%lower than that in the control group(26.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Preoperative precise blood glucose management can effectively reduce the blood glucose level of GDM patients, improve the blood glucose level of newborns after birth, reduce the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia and other complications, and improve the delivery quality. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
