To evaluate the efficacy and safety of water capsule combined with oxytocin in inducing labor in delayed or expired pregnancy
Objective To analyze the clinical effect and safety of using water sac combined with oxytocin in induced labor treatment for women with delayed or expired pregnancy. Methods 100 cases of delayed or expired pregnancy were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was induced by oxytocin alone, and the observation group was induced by water sac combined with oxytocin. The effect of induction was compared between the two groups. Results The time from labor induction to labor, the first stage of labor and the second stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the blood loss 2 h after delivery was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).The vaginal delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the neonatal asphyxia rate was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After delivery, the white blood cell count(WBC)and C-reactive protein(CRP)indexes in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of induction of labor in observation group was 100%higher than that in control group 90.00%(P<0.05).The incidence of postpartum complications in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion When inducing labor for women with delayed or expired pregnancy, the use of water sac combined with oxytocin can effectively accelerate the delivery of women, improve the success rate of vaginal delivery, reduce the occurrence of postpartum complications, and have a high safety.
