Analysis of clinical significance of HPV combined with liquid-based cytology to detect cervical lesions
Objective To analyze the clinical significance of human papillomavirus(HPV)combined with liquid-based cytology in detecting cervical lesions. Methods 69 women who underwent cervical screening were selected and tested by HPV combined with liquid based cytology to observe the results. Results There were some differences between the results of liquid based cytology and colposcopic biopsy, and there was still a certain false negative rate in ASCUS,which was 13.33%(4/30)in this test,68.00%(17/25)in cytology and 78.57%(11/14)in cytology. The coincidence rate with histopathology increased as the grade increased. However,HPV infection is still negative in patients with cervical precancerous lesions, which needs to be combined with colposcopy to maximize the diagnostic rate. Conclusion HPV combined with liquid based cytology is more beneficial to improve the diagnostic accuracy of cervical lesions.
