Application value of transvaginal color ultrasonography in differential diagnosis of ruptured corpus luteum of ovary and ruptured ectopic pregnancy
Objective To analyze the value of transvaginal color ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of ruptured corpus luteum of ovary and ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Methods 42 patients suspected to have ruptured corpus luteum of ovary and ruptured ectopic pregnancy were examined by color Doppler ultrasonography, and diagnosed by two differential diagnosis methods:transabdominal color ultrasound and transvaginal color ultrasound. The results of pathological examination were taken as the gold standard to observe the diagnostic results. Results The results of surgical and pathological examination showed that 23 cases of ectopic pregnancy rupture and 19 cases of luteal rupture of ovary in 42 patients. The diagnostic accuracy of transabdominal ultrasound was 52.38%.The diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasound was 92.86%.Among the two diagnostic methods, the diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasonography was higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal color ultrasound has a prominent advantage in the differential diagnosis of rupture of corpus luteum of ovary and rupture of ectopic pregnancy.
