Correlation analysis between vaginal microbiota characteristics and human papillomavirus infection
Objective To analyze the correlation between vaginal microecological characteristics and human papillomavirus(HPV)infection. Methods 1686 patients who underwent vaginal microecology and HPV examination were selected to analyze the composition of mixed vaginitis, the correlation between vaginal microecology and HPV,and the correlation between simple vaginitis and HPV.Results Among the 1686 patients,1063 cases(63.05%)of vaginal microflora were normal,47 cases(2.79%)of bacterial inhibition,405 cases(24.02%)of simple vaginitis and 171 cases(10.14%)of mixed vaginitis were detected. There were significant differences in pH value, bacterial population density, lactobacillus grade and leukocyte esterase count between HPV-negative patients and HPV-positive patients(P<0.05).Simple vaginitis vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC)and aerobic vaginitis(AV)were correlated with HPV infection,VVC was positively correlated with HPV infection, and AV was negatively correlated with HPV infection(P<0.05).Conclusion Abnormal vaginal microecology is associated with HPV infection, and the characteristics of vaginal microecology provide an effective basis for the condition and management of HPV infection.
