Effect of serum and peritoneal fluid AMH levels on postoperative pregnancy outcomes in patients with endometriosis-related infertility
Objective To investigate the clinical value of anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)levels in serum and peritoneal fluid in predicting pregnancy outcomes in patients with endometriosis(EAI)complicated with infertility. Methods 122 patients undergoing combined uterine laparoscopic diagnosis and treatment were selected, and the patients were diagnosed with infertility through surgical pathology.According to prospective research methods, the patients were divided into experimental group(patients with endometriosis complicated with infertility,EAI group)and control group(patients with non-endometriosis complicated with infertility,Non-EAI group),with 61 cases in each group. All patients underwent surgery on the 3rd to 7th day after menstruation had cleared.AMH levels in serum and peritoneal fluid and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups. Results AMH levels in serum and peritoneal fluid in EAI group were significantly lower than those in Non-EAI group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The postoperative pregnancy rate of EAI group was higher than that of Non-EAI group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The level of AMH in serum and peritoneal fluid has important clinical value in predicting the pregnancy outcome of endometriosis patients with infertility after surgical treatment.
