Clinical observation of balloon dilation of cervix combined with small dose of oxytocin
Objective To explore the clinical effect of balloon dilation of cervix combined with intravenous infusion of low dose of oxytocin. Methods 300 pregnant women with full term pregnancy, immature cervix and vaginal trial labor were divided into control group and study group according to different treatment methods, with 150 cases in each group. The control group received low dose of oxytocin intravenously, and the study group received low dose of oxytocin intravenously combined with cervical balloon dilation. The effect of oxytocin, labor time and incidence of adverse outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of oxytocin in the study group(95.33%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(82.67%)(P<0.05).The latency of the first stage of labor, the active stage of the first stage of labor, the second stage of labor and the total stage of labor in the study group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse outcomes in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Active implementation of cervical balloon dilation combined with low dose of oxytocin intravenous infusion can improve the success rate of oxytocin, accelerate the progress of labor, reduce adverse outcomes for mothers and infants, and have significant clinical application value.
