Study on the effect of combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine on senile vaginitis
Objective To explore the effect of treating senile vaginitis with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.Methods 42 patients with senile vaginitis were selected and divided into control group and experimental group,with 21 cases in each group.The control group was treated with metronidazole suppository and the experimental group was treated with metronidazole suppository combined with Dancao decoction.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of experimental group was 95.24％higher than that of control group(71.43％)(P＜0.05).Symptom improvement time of experimental group was shorter than that of control group(P＜0.05).Symptom scores and levels of inflammatory factors in experimental groups were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Senile vaginitis can be treated with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine,which can control symptoms quickly,regulate the level of inflammatory factors,and has few side effects,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
