Application of serum ferritin,MMP-9 and Group B streptococcus in the diagnosis of premature rupture of fetal membrane induced chorioamniotic inflammation
Objective To investigate the effect of detecting serum ferritin, matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and group B streptococcus in the diagnosis of premature rupture of fetal membrane induced chorionic amniotic inflammation. Methods 82 patients with premature rupture of fetal membrane were selected and divided into control group(41 cases with premature rupture of fetal membrane without chorioamniotic inflammation)and observation group(41 cases with premature rupture of fetal membrane without chorioamniotic inflammation)according to whether the patients were caused by chorioamniotic inflammation.Serum ferritin,MMP-9 and vaginal secretions were detected in both groups, and the detection results of the two groups were compared. Results The levels of serum ferritin,MMP-9 and positive rate of group B streptococcus in vaginal secretions in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The detection of serum ferritin,MMP-9 and Group B streptococcus in vaginal secretions has important clinical value in the diagnosis of premature rupture of fetal membrane induced chorionic amniotitis.
