The effect of comprehensive nursing by midwives on perineal laceration in unprotected parturients
Objective To analyze the positive impact of comprehensive nursing by midwives on perineal lacerations in unprotected parturients. Methods 128 unprotected perineal delivery women in our hospital were collected as research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, with 64 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received comprehensive midwife care. The severity of perineal lacerations, detailed delivery information, and satisfaction with delivery outcomes were compared between the two groups of parturients. Results The perineal lacerations in the observation group were milder than those in the control group(P<0.05).The pain score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the second stage of labor and hospital stay were shorter than those of the control group. The incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Midwives are responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to unprotected delivery women, which can reduce the degree of perineal laceration and ensure satisfactory delivery quality.
