Application of mind mapping combined with feedback theory in health education of hospitalized pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the effect of using mind map and feedback theory in the health education of hospitalized pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods 144 pregnant women with gestational diabetes were selected and divided into control group and study group with 72 cases in each group according to random number table method. The control group received conventional health education, and the research group received mind mapping combined with feedback theory to conduct health education. The cognitive level,self-management ability, blood sugar level and pregnancy outcome of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the cognitive level and self-management ability scores of pregnant women in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the blood glucose level of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Mind mapping combined with feedback theory can improve the cognitive level of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),effectively control the level of blood glucose and improve the quality of life.
