Evaluation of the advantages of antagonist regimen in auxiliary reproductive technology
Objective To study the advantages of the application of antagonist schemes in the auxiliary reproductive technology. Methods 56 patients who underwent in vitro fertilization embryo transfer(IVF-ET)for the first time in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 28 cases in each group. The control group received a rectangular plan during the follicular phase, while the study group received an antagonist regimen. The relevant indicators of the two groups were compared. Results The total dose of gonadotropin(Gn)in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the Gn days were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in pregnancy rate, live birth rate, and incidence of ovarian overstimulation between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the number of retrieved eggs,high-quality embryos daily levels of human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG),luteinizing hormone(LH),and estradiol(E2)between the two groups. Conclusion The application of an antagonist solution in the auxiliary reproductive technology can reduce the use time and dosage of Gn.On the basis of ensuring the pregnancy rate and living rate, treatment time and cost can be saved.
