Exploration of the regulatory effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application combined with wrist ankle on factors related to postpartum uterine involution and uterine artery blood flow parameters
Objective To exploring the regulatory effects of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application combined with wrist ankle on factors related to postpartum uterine involution and uterine artery blood flow parameters. Methods 100 postpartum women and randomly divide them into a control group and an observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine postpartum care, while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application combined with wrist ankle acupuncture treatment on the basis of the control group. The application effects of the two groups were compared. Results The time for uterine involution in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the height of the uterine fundus and the amount of lochia were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The uterine artery blood flow parameters in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were only 2 cases of mild adverse reactions in the observation group, both of which were mild redness and swelling of the skin at the acupoint application site, which did not affect the treatment. After symptomatic treatment, the symptoms subsided on their own. Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application and wrist ankle acupuncture can effectively promote postpartum uterine involution, improve uterine artery blood flow status, and reduce postpartum complications. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
