Analysis of diagnostic accuracy of polycystic ovary syndrome by transvaginal ultrasonography
Objective To investigate the diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome. Methods 68 patients with PCOS were selected as the study group, and 68 normal women who underwent physical examination at the same period were selected as the control group. Both groups underwent transvaginal ultrasound examination. The examination results, ovarian artery flow parameters[arterial resistance index(RI),end-diastolic blood flow velocity(EDV),and arterial pulsation index(PI)]of the two groups were compared, and the diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasound results was analyzed. Results The number of follicles, interstitial echo enhancement index and medullary area in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The RI and PI levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the EDV levels were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The accuracy of the test results in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasonography can determine the ovarian condition of patients and understand the parameters of ovarian artery blood flow.It has high diagnostic accuracy and clinical use value.
