The effect of doula accompanied nursing by midwives on delivery mode and maternal and infant outcomes of women in painless delivery
Objective To explore the application effect of doula accompanied nursing for midwives in painless delivery. Methods 82 women who underwent painless labor were divided into two groups with 41 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group received routine painless delivery nursing, and the observation group received doula accompanied nursing. The cesarean section rate, lateral perineal resection rate, bleeding rate, labor time and neonatal Apgar score were compared between the two groups. Results The cesarean section rate, lateral perineal resection rate and bleeding rate in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The duration of labor in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the Apgar score of newborns was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Doula accompanied nursing by midwives can not only effectively reduce the cesarean section rate, lateral perineal resection rate and bleeding rate, but also shorten the labor time and increase the Apgar score of newborns, which is of great significance for improving the delivery experience and outcome of women in painless labor.
