The impact of self-care management combined with comprehensive pain care based on empowerment theory on the degree of pain and hospitalization satisfaction of patients after laparoscopic gynecological surgery
Objective To explore the impact of self-care management based on empowerment theory combined with comprehensive pain care on the pain level and hospitalization satisfaction of patients after laparoscopic gynecological surgery. Methods 82 patients who underwent laparoscopic gynecological surgery in the obstetrics and gynecology department of our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a reference group and a study group using a random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The reference group implemented routine nursing, while the research group implemented self-care management based on empowerment theory combined with comprehensive pain care. The pain visual analogue scale(VAS)and hospitalization satisfaction score of the two groups of patients before and after nursing were compared. Results After nursing, the VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the reference group, and the hospitalization satisfaction score was higher than that of the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing self-care management based on empowerment theory combined with comprehensive pain care can effectively alleviate patient pain and improve their hospitalization satisfaction.
