Advantages of safe operation of low-throughput pipeline in oil-gas mixed transportation process
To ensure that the J-S oil pipeline in a certain block of the North China Oilfield can operate safely under low throughput, this paper applies two technical schemes of oil-gas mixed transportation and low water content oil transmission for comparative analysis. It is preferable to reduce the J-S pipeline lowest starting capacity and starting temperature by the operation mode of oil-gas mixed transportation.A new associated gas compression, injection, and venting system is built at station J and a new separation, and a filtration and venting system is built at station S.The flow rate of the medium in the pipeline is improved by using the flow characteristics of the two-phase flow in the pipeline, and the rich associated gas resources of station J are transported to station S through pipeline transportation. The design is simulated by PIPESIM software and HYSYS software, and the calculation results aremutually verified. This scheme not only solves the problem of safe operation of J-S pipelines with low throughput but also alleviates the contradiction between the uneven distribution of resources associated with J Oilfield and S oilfield, reducing the crude oil production cost of oilfields.
