Reliability analysis and maintenance of valves and actuators in pressure gas station based on FMECA
In order to better ensure the safe operation of long-distance gas transmission systems and effectively identify the possible modes and causes of the system failures and their possible impacts, this paper applied Failure Mode,Effect and Hazard Analysis(FMECA)to the risk analysis and optimization of key valves and actuators in pressurized gas stations. It first developed a typical template for FMECA analysis by combining the Hazard and Operability Analysis(HAZOP)report and the key interlocking valve ledger, and selected the maintainable components that deserve special attention. Then it preprocessed the data and developed a risk matrix, and conducted FMECA and risk assessment accordingly. Finally,it optimized the maintenance, operation and management strategies of the existing valves.Through analysis,a list of failure modes of key components and the recommended measures was given, which ensures safer, more efficient and stable operation of control valves and continuously improves the reliability of the system.
