Corrosion mechanism and protective measures of gathering pipeline in a block of Sulige gas field
The natural gas gathering and transportation pipeline in Sulige gas field is the main transportation pipeline connecting the gas field development zone and the oil and gas gathering station,and undertakes the important task of transporting natural gas energy to the outside world.Based on the study of the geographical and environmental factors,pipeline transportation medium and corrosion mechanism in a block of Sulige gas field,it is found that air,soil and natural gas will affect the pipeline corrosion.According to the corrosion characteristics of a block of Sulige gas field,3PE coating combined with cathodic protection is recommended for external protection,while epoxy coating is recommended for internal protection to effectively control the corrosion of ground gathering and transportation pipelines.
