Analysis of initial laying of S-lay subsea pipeline in restricted sea area
To lay the Marine pipe on the narrow edge of the wharf,it is necessary to lay the initial anchor points with the help of anchor piles and wharf tie posts.Based on a newly-built offshore pipeline, the influence of anchor position and tensioner tension on pipeline response was studied. The results show that the response of the anchor position to the initial laying of the pipeline is not obvious, while the tension of the tensioner has a significant effect on the tensile force of the anchor point.According to calculation and analysis, during the process of initial laying, the maximum stresses of the upper and lower bending sections met the requirement with a use coefficient lower than 0.87 and a maximum bending strain lower than 0.205%.With a local buckling check coefficient lower than 1,static initial laying analysis meets the code requirement and construction requirement of initial laying.
