Influence of environmental factors on the positioning of FPSO moonpool
In the process of FPSO hull integration, the influence of environmental factors such as temperature and illumination on accuracy control cannot be ignored.Taking a domestic FPSO project recently completed as an example, this paper studies the position change of the moonpool center, which is the fiducial point for positioning, influenced by environmental factors including temperature and illumination when the lower tower body is integrated with the hull on dry dockyard.Measurement experiments are conducted to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the reasons and patterns of position changes in the center of the moonpool under environmental changes. In addition, the construction suggestion that precise positioning and welding of the lower tower body should be carried out during the night time with a constant temperature is proposed.
