Influencing factors of ultrasonic guided wave non-destructive testing technology for buried insulation pipelines
Featured with single-end receiving and transmitting,long-distance and large-scale propagation, ultrasonic guided wave testing technology can be widely used for corrosion detection of buried insulation pipelines.MATLAB numerical analysis method and guided wave non-destructive testing experiment were applied to study the influence of temperature and burial depth on ultrasonic guided wave testing technology. The test results show that temperature changes can affect the wave speed and amplitude of ultrasonic guided wave signals, while burial depth attenuates the propagation of ultrasonic guided wave signals, thereby affecting their propagation distance. The influencing factors of ultrasonic guided wave testing technology for buried pipelines were further discussed to provide important reference and guidance for research and practical applications in related fields.
